The Bay Street Active Living 55+ will showcase the artistic talents and creativity of its members with a special Arts & Crafts Display on Wednesday, June 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bay Street Active Living Centre. The event is free and open to the public.
The display will showcase handcrafted works created by participants in the Centre’s Arts, Crafts, and Hobby groups. Visitors will have the opportunity to view projects and learn about the skills and techniques involved in a range of projects, including Japanese Bunka, painting, woodburning, rug hooking, appliqué, quilting, and open needlecraft.
The exhibition highlights the dedication, craftsmanship, and artistic expression of the Active 55+ members while showcasing the diverse programs offered throughout the year.
