The following streets (or portions thereof) are scheduled for full reconstruction – roadway, sewers and watermain – necessitating road closures during the 2026 construction period:

Partial Resurfacing (patches)
The following streets are scheduled to be resurfaced in 2026:
- Wellington Street (East Street to Gore Street)
- Albert Street (East Street to Gore Street)
Asphalt roads with curbs and storm sewers (Class A)
Asphalt roads with roadside ditches (Class B)
- Pim Street (Oakwood Drive to MacDonald Avenue)
- North Street (Wellington Street to St. Georges Avenue)
- Chambers Avenue (Gibbs Street to South Market Street)
- Allen’s Side Road (Second Line to Third Line)
- Allard Street (McNabb Street to Chapple Avenue)
- McNabb Street (Great Northern Road to Canadian Tire entrance)
Surface Treatment (convert to asphalt)
- Connor Road (Civic 84 to end)
- Falldien Road (Queen Street to River Road)
- Langdon Road (Korah Road to Murton Avenue)
- Sixth Line (railroad tracks to Connor Road)
- Wireless Avenue (Ravina Street to Lake Street)
These road sections have been prioritized based on Public Works maintenance needs, volume of traffic, recent visual inspections, and pavement condition scores from the City’s Asset Management Plan. Commuters are reminded to obey signed detours and plan ahead for construction delays.
