Mayor Matthew Shoemaker invites elementary school-aged children in Sault Ste. Marie to showcase their creativity in the annual Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition. Young artists are encouraged to submit holiday-themed drawings for a chance to have their artwork featured on the Mayor’s official Christmas cards.
Three winning designs will be selected as the official 2025 Christmas cards. Winners will receive a gift certificate and a signed copy of their card from the Mayor.
“We send our Christmas cards to the Prime Minister, the Premier, and community leaders, and I’m excited that this year they will once again highlight the artistic talents of our local students,” said Mayor Shoemaker.
Entry forms are available online, and submissions can be emailed to mayorsoffice@cityssm.on.ca or dropped off at the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre reception. Entries must include the participant’s name, age, school, and contact information.
