The Heritage Discovery Summer Camp at the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site is now on!
Campers will get to a pioneer life experience for a week with an adventurous, exciting, and educational activities on July 14th to 18, 2025, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, open for ages 7-11 years old.

Campers will so visit the Canadian Bushplane and Sault Ste. Marie Museum to see new sights during the whole week.
Daily Themes:
- Shipwrecked in 1812 – Start digging for an archeological artifact, and what will you do if you are stuck on a desert island to survive a shipwreck?
- Ye Olde Science Camp – Learn the process of dyeing a fabric with natural dyes and discover the science behind felting a beaver fur hat and make a delicious Victorian ice cream.
- A day in the life… – Show off your skills at turning cream into a butter and create your own Jacob’s ladder toy.
- Earth, Wind, and Fire – It’s time for gardening! Learn about the plants, learn how to make a fire with Coureur Du Bois, and blow wind through your pinwheel craft.
- Slices of the Past – It’s a Victorian Pizza party! Bake a handmade pizza in the bake oven for a great way to end the summer camp with everyone.

Extended Care: $25 (from 8:15-9:00 am and 4:00-4:45 pm
