The City has renamed a portion of Anita Boulevard to Team Jacobs Way, affecting only the Curling Club, which supports the proposed change. By-law 2026-99 will appear on the Council Agenda on August 31, 2026, to finalize the name change. Any person affected by and objecting to the change of this portion of Anita Boulevard must write to the City Clerk via email to clerks@cityssm.on.ca, or mail, or drop it off in person at the Clerk’s Department, 4th Floor of City Hall, 99 Foster Drive, Sault Ste. Marie,
ON P6A 5X6, by August 19, 2026.
