Twelve students launch summer businesses

Twelve local youths have been awarded funding to launch their own businesses under Summer Company. The young entrepreneur program provides business training and mentoring to assist high school and post-secondary students in starting a seasonal business. This initiative is administered by the Economic Development division of the City of Sault Ste. Marie. 
 
The 2024 Summer Company participants in the Sault Ste. Marie area are:

Kaden Dundas – Greenside Property Care
Destiny Link – Link’s Crafty Corner
Martina Pucci – Fields Square Lawn Care
Theo Smith – Top Shelf Property Maintenance
Ambar Thompson – Art Adventures
Liam Watson – Watson’s Lawn Care
Heather Yanni – AllStar Stickers
Ella Zachary – Sweet Treatz
