The following City facilities and services will be closed for Sir William H. Hearst Day (August 3 Civic Holiday):

• Cemetery office
• City Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Depot
• Fire Services Administrative Office
• GFL Memorial Gardens, office and Box Office
• James L. McIntyre Centennial Library and the North Branch Library
• John Rhodes Centre and the Northern Community Centre arena
• Northern Community Centre turf and community space
• Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre
• Public Works office. For 24-hour emergency service, call 705-759-5201
• Sault Transit office

Garbage & Recycling Collection
There will be no garbage, leaf, yard waste, or recycling pickup on Monday, August 3. Collection for the remainder of the week will be one day late.

Leaf and Yard Waste is collected on your scheduled garbage day every second week. To view the Leaf and Yard Waste collection calendar, visit saultstemarie.ca/leafyardwaste.

The City’s landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Depot will be closed on August 3. For more information, visit saultstemarie.ca/waste or call Public Works and Engineering Services at 705-759-5201.

Transit Services
Regular transit and Parabus service will operate on Monday, August 3. Transit will operate hourly, leaving the terminal at a quarter after the hour (weekend service). The Community Bus will not operate on August 3. The Pointe Des Chenes (PDC) bus will operate as follows:

Depart Terminal at 12:15 p.m., Depart Northern Transfer Point at 12:35 p.m., Arrive at PDC at 1:05 p.m., Depart PDC at 1:15 p.m.
Depart Terminal at 4:15 p.m., Depart Northern Transfer Point at 4:35 p.m., Arrive at PDC att 5:05 p.m., Depart PDC at 5:15 p.m.

Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site
Open August 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Marine Facilities
Bellevue Marina is open on August 3 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Roberta Bondar Marina is open on August 3 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Seasonal boat launch passes are $70 and can be purchased online. Passes are also available during business hours at the fuel kiosk at Bellevue Marina, or the Community Development and Enterprise Services office at the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre. Daily launch dispenser machines accept coins, debit, and credit for a flat rate of $7. Download the Passport Parking mobile app and use zone 3759 for daily launch.

Arenas
The John Rhodes will be open for scheduled events.

Pools/Splash Pad
The John Rhodes pool is open during regular scheduled hours. Parent & Child/Lane Swim from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a Public Swim from 1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Peter G. Manzo and V.E. Greco outdoor pools are open from 1 to 7 p.m., weather permitting.

The Bellevue Park and Manzo Park Splash Pad is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Downtown Plaza
The Rotary Interactive Fountain will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
