The community is invited to join City representatives for the official opening of Manitou Park and Wilcox Park. The two neighbourhood parks have received significant upgrades designed to create more accessible, welcoming, and enjoyable spaces for all ages.
Manitou Park Opening

Wilcox Park Opening

Location: Wilcox Avenue between Spruce Street and Maple Street
The City received $858,080 from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) to support upgrades to City parks. This funding helped make improvements at both Manitou Park and Wilcox Park, including fully upgraded playgrounds with new equipment, accessible play features, seating, surfacing, and a paved path.
City representatives will be at both openings to celebrate the completed upgrades and welcome residents to the newly improved parks. All are welcome to attend.
