Sault Transit Announces Temporary Transfer Service for Passengers Affected by People’s Road Closure
To support customers impacted by the closure of People’s Road, Sault Transit is introducing a temporary transfer service for customers along the affected portion of the #3 Korah Road route.
A designated transfer point has been established at the layover area near People’s Road and Everett Street. Signage will be posted at affected bus stops with instructions and a contact number for UCAB.
Affected passengers can call UCAB at 705-946-1300 to schedule a pick-up from an effected stop, and will be dropped off at the layover site. For return trips, passengers can schedule a pick up from the layover site to be dropped off at an affected bus stop. All trips must be booked with UCAB at least 24-hours in advance.
This service will remain in place until normal route operations can safely resume.
