Outdoor Fitness Centre

Situated in Clergue Park near the waterfront, the Outdoor Fitness Centre is a great stop along the Hub Trail for all residents and visitors.

Safety Instructions

  1. You must be at least 12 years old to use the equipment.
  2. The equipment is not supervised and is meant for users in good health.
  3. Always warm up before and cool down after your workout.
  4. Use proper posture as shown. Proper posture will greatly reduce the chances of injury and maximize exercise benefits.
  5. Use proper form. Focus on only working the muscle group intended for your exercise.
  6. Breathe normally during physical exercise.
  7. To ensure safety, please take some time to rest between exercises.
  8. Perform exercises according to instructions that are provided on each piece of equipment.
  9. Before using equipment, carefully check for loose parts, breaks, cracks or other conditions needing attention.  If any problems are noticed, do not use the equipment.  Please inform others about the problem and call 705-759-5201 to report it.

Warnings and Precautions

  1. You assume all risk and responsibility for use of the exercise equipment. 
  2. Parents/Guardians: to avoid injuries, do not allow your underage children to use the equipment.
  3. Consult your physician prior to starting any physical fitness training program.
  4. Any potential users with known adverse health conditions should not use the equipment
  5. It is essential to ensure that small children and others stay at a safe distance from any moving parts.
  6. The moving elements can be dangerous. Never allow your fingers, toes, hair and other body parts near moving elements while in motion.
  7. Using this equipment with wet feet or without shoes is forbidden.
  8. During exercise, pay attention to how your body feels.  If pain or discomfort occurs, STOP EXERCISING IMMEDIATELY
