Requirements
Community Event and Street Closure
This application is used to request City approval to temporarily close or use a street for an event. It is reviewed by City staff and requires approval from Public Works and CDES. If structures are involved, a Licence to Occupy City Property is needed. Applications must be submitted at least 30 days before the event.
Alcohol
The Alcohol Risk Management Policy consists of a range of measures designed to prevent alcohol-related problems and to increase the enjoyment of those who use licensed municipal facilities.
By reducing the potential for alcohol-related incidents, both the City and event organizers reduce liability and enhance public safety.
