- Fire alarm monitoring
- Mobile radio operations and maintenance
- Mechanical
- Vehicle maintenance
- Equipment and tools maintenance
- Building maintenance
- Fire alarm monitoring – customer support and maintenance
- Radio maintenance
- Certification and inspection of apparatus and equipment
The Suppression Division is responsible for:
- Responding to all fires
- Auto extrication
- Hazardous material responses
- Fire response to marine incidents
- Rescue response (ice & water, confined space, tiered response – ambulance & police)
- Fire prevention activities
- Training in all aspects of emergency response
- Development of operating guidelines
- Maintenance of promotional system
- Researching firefighting methodologies
