Business Incentives
The City of Sault Ste. Marie looks forward to working with businesses and developers to advance new projects in the community. The City currently has no development charges for new developments and incentive programs for new developments including:
- Community Development Fund (Economic Development Program) – offering direct financial support to advance new projects.
- Economic Growth Community Improvement Plan – offering a tax rebate or funding contribution to new projects that diversify the local economy and stimulate job growth.
