The City of Sault Ste. Marie and Mayor Matthew Shoemaker wish to thank local students for their entries to the Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition. Approximately 700 submissions were received from elementary school aged children, and four were selected to be used as the Mayor’s annual Christmas Card.
The cards selected are as follows (to view the cards, click on the student’s name):
“I’m grateful to every student who contributed to this year’s Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition. Your artwork brought the festive spirit to life. I’m excited to share their creativity with the Prime Minister, the Premier, and with people throughout our community,” said Mayor Shoemaker.
The five winning designs will be used as the Mayor’s official 2025 Christmas card, and will feature the winner’s drawing and name. The winners will also receive a gift certificate and a copy of the Christmas card personally signed by the Mayor.
