Monday to Saturday – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The City landfill is located at 402 Fifth Line East.
City Landfill regarding emergency service or requests during the evening or weekend, call the Public Works and Engineering 24-hour emergency dispatch at 705-759-5201.
Landfill Fees
Only debit, Visa, Mastercard or American Express are being accepted at this time.

| General Public | $13.25 Gate Fee 300 kg or less ($9.20 per 100 kgs over 300 kgs). Applies to all loads. |
| Commercial | $13.25 Gate Fee Minimum charge ($9.20 per 100 kgs over 145 kgs or $92 per metric tonne). |
| Tires | Passenger car tires per tire/tire on rim – No charge (Limit of 10 tires). Gate fee still applies. To find additional tire disposal locations visit eTracks.ca and enter your postal code. |
| Refrigeration Units | No charge if the freezer/refrigerator/humidifier/air conditioner, etc. has a certified sticker confirming that the freon is removed (tagged). If a certified sticker is not present (untagged), the landfill will charge $30 plus a user fee of $13.25. |
Additional Information
By regulation of the Ministry of the Environment and the Highway Traffic Act, all material hauled on City streets to the landfill or depot(s) must be properly secured or covered with a tarp.
