Calling all employers: the City of Sault Ste. Marie in partnership with Sault College is pleased to host a Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) information session with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on November 22, 2022.
Participants in the session will:
- Discover how to hire and support newcomers in the workplace
- Receive an overview of the RNIP program
- Learn about the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) exempt process in relation to RNIP
- Understand the student employee transition from student to worker to RNIP applicant
- Find out how to use NOC 2021. In November 2022 all IRCC immigration programs must reflect these changes
- Understand the changes that come into effect on November 16, 2022
The session is from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in room APH04 at Sault College. A Light lunch will be provided. In-person attendance at Sault College is encouraged, however an online option will also be available.
