Mayor Matthew Shoemaker invites elementary school-aged children in Sault Ste. Marie to showcase their creativity in the annual Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition. Young artists are encouraged to submit holiday-themed drawings for a chance to have their artwork featured on the Mayor’s official Christmas cards.
 
Three winning designs will be selected as the official 2024 Christmas cards. Winners will receive a gift certificate and a signed copy of their card from the Mayor.
 
“Our Christmas cards are sent to the Prime Minister, the Premier, and community leaders, and I’m looking forward to showcase the artistic talents of our local students on this year’s cards,” said Mayor Shoemaker.
 
Entry forms are available online, and submissions can be emailed to mayorsoffice@cityssm.on.ca or dropped off at the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre reception. Entries must include the participant’s name, age, school, and contact information.
