Sault Moves Active Transportation
The City of Sault Ste Marie has developed a draft
Active Transportation Master Plan (ATMP) that outlines a long-term vision to support walking, cycling, and rolling throughout the city. The plan aims to enhance both physical and social infrastructure, making active transportation safer, more accessible, and better connected across the community.
The ATMP proposes a comprehensive network of sidewalks, bike routes, and multi-use trails to improve safety, increase transportation options, and link key destinations across the city.
To share information about the draft plan and gather public feedback, the City will be hosting two public information sessions. Residents are encouraged to drop in at any time between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to provide input.
