The City of Sault Ste. Marie is advising motorists and residents that night paving will take place at several major intersections from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. beginning the evening of Sunday, September 14, weather permitting.
The scheduled paving work is as follows:
- Sunday, September 14 – Great Northern Road and Second Line intersection
- Monday, September 15 – McNabb Street and Black Road intersection
- Tuesday, September 16 – Second Line and Goulais Avenue intersection
Night work is being scheduled to minimize disruption to daytime traffic and improve safety for road crews and travelling public. Traffic control measures will be in place, and motorists are advised to use caution, follow all posted signage, and plan for possible delays when travelling during scheduled work periods.
