City opens its newest Disc Golf course at Pointe Des Chenes day park

The City’s newest sporting opportunity is available at Pointe Des Chenes Day Park. The Disc Golf course is now open to the public just in time for the Labour Day weekend. Take advantage of the beautiful views and landscapes while watching your disc sail through the air, hearing the chains rattle when you make that perfect shot.
"We are pleased to offer this unique amenity to our community," said Brent Lamming, Director of Community Services. "Pointe Des Chenes day park is an ideal location for an activity such as this and the best part is players can cool off and take a break at the beach. We would like to thank the Sault Disc Golf Association that provided their support and expertise for the development of the course.”
Disc Golf is a golf inspired game played with a specialized flying disc. Instead of hitting a ball into a hole, players throw a disc into a target. Scorecards are available by searching Pointe Des Chenes Disc Golf Park, on the UDisc App or on
