Schedule changes for Sir William H. Hearst Day

Garbage & Recycling Collection
No garbage, leaf and yard waste or recycling pickup on Monday, August 5. Collection for the remainder of the week will be one day late.

The City’s landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Depot will be closed August 5. For more information, visit saultstemarie.ca/waste or call Public Works and Engineering Services at 705-759-5201.
 
Transit Services
Regular transit and Parabus service will operate on Monday, August 5. Transit will operate hourly, leaving the terminal at a quarter after the hour (weekend service). The Community Bus will not operate on August 5. The Pointe Des Chenes (PDC) bus will operate as follows:

Marine Facilities 
Bellevue and Bondar marinas are open August 5 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
 
Seasonal boat launch passes are $70 and can be purchased online. Passes are also available during business hours at the fuel kiosk at Bellevue Marina, or the Community Development and Enterprise Services office at the Civic Centre. Daily launch dispenser machines accept coins, debit, and credit for a flat rate of $7. Download the Passport Parking mobile app and use zone 3759 for daily launch. 
 
Arenas
Northern Community Centre will be open for scheduled events.
 
Pools/Splash Pad 
The John Rhodes pool is open regular scheduled hours. Parent & Child/Lane Swim 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a Public Swim 1:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
 
The Peter G. Manzo and V.E. Greco outdoor pools are open 1 to 7 p.m., weather permitting.
 
The Bellevue Park and Manzo Park Splash Pad is open daily 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
 
Downtown Plaza
The Rotary Interactive Fountain will be open from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. The Summer Olympics will be broadcast on the screen as well.
