Are you an artist in Sault Ste. Marie or Algoma looking to highlight your work? The City of Sault Ste. Marie is launching an arts and culture portal featuring the many talented local artists, organizations and creatives in our community.
Artists of all ages, disciplines and levels of practice are encouraged to submit an application form for inclusion on the website. Interested artists, organizations or creative partners can find more details and submit their information forms by visiting

“We have a rich tapestry of artistic creativity taking place in our community,” said Virginia McLeod, Manager of Recreation and Culture. “It is important that we build and maintain an online space to highlight our local artists and their works. By building this digital space, we provide a place for artists to be contacted quickly and easily and showcase our artists and their contributions.”
While the artist inventory will be maintained and updated on a regular basis, artists are asked to complete and submit their application form prior to September 15, 2022, to be included in the portal launch this fall. For more information on the new artist portal and directory, contact
