Bronze Medallion - Must be 13 years old or completed Bronze Star

Bronze Cross - Must have completed Bronze Medallion

National Lifeguard - Must be 15 years old, completed Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid CPR C.
National Lifeguard Course Information
Fitness skills - Candidates must be able to do the following by the end of the course:

20lb brick retrieval
-
15 meter underwater swim
-
50 meter swim in 60 second or less
-
400 meter swim in 10 minutes or less
Prerequisites - Candidate must be 15 years of age before the exam date, have successfully completed Bronze Cross as well as Standard First Aid CPR C which must be WSIB approved.
