Wednesday, September 7, 2022
Sault Transit Adventure Bus will launch Saturday, September 10, 2022. The Adventure Bus operates on Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting, travelling three times per day to Hiawatha Highlands. The bus will stop at the Northern Community Centre on Goulais Avenue, the downtown bus terminal, John Rhodes Community Centre, and the Northern transfer hub at Sault College, on its way to Hiawatha. The pilot program will run until November 6.
“Offering the Adventure Bus during the fall months provides a great opportunity for students, seniors, and new families to experience the beauty of the area. We are pleased to expand our service in this way,” said Brent Lamming, Director, Community Services.
Conventional bicycles with a single seat and two wheels will fit in City busses equipped with bike racks on the front. Use of the bike rack is included with regular fare. For more information and to view the route map and schedule visit
