City launches its new Arts & Culture Assistance Program

Friday, September 10, 2021

The City of SSM is launching its new Arts & Culture Assistance Program (ACAP). This program replaces the existing Cultural Financial Assistance (CFA) program with the first intake of applications opening September 24, 2021 at 8 a.m. and closing Friday October 29, 2021 at 5 p.m.

The ACAP program will offer arts, culture & heritage funding through several streams including Project (Large and Small), Operational/Seed, Festival/Events (Large and Small) and Cultural Diversity to local and area arts, culture and heritage organizations, collectives/groups and individuals who practice in and/or service the City of Sault Ste. Marie. The new program will also offer two intakes to better support the needs of the arts, culture and heritage sector.

Details on the ACAP program, including guidelines, application process and other supporting documents can be found on the City’s website at saultstemarie.ca/culturalgrants.
