Road Closure (Great Northern Road at McNabb Street)

Please note: the affected intersection has been reopened, but there is still a partial lane closure to facilitate work on the project. The City of Sault Ste. Marie thanks Citizens for their patience and understanding.
The City’s Public Works and Engineering Services Department would like to inform motorists and pedestrians that Great Northern Road at the McNabb Street intersection will be closed for approximately two days beginning Saturday, November 9 at 3 a.m. The closure is required to facilitate final watermain connections associated with the reconstruction of McNabb Street.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to be cautious and obey all detour signage in the area during this time.
