Recycling collection scheduling changes now underway

The City of Sault Ste. Marie reminds residents that amendments to the collection day for recycling commenced the week of November 4.
Garbage and recycling collection will now occur on different days. While the garbage collection day remains the same, recycling collection will take place the next business day after waste collection.
The amended scheduling changes are outlined below:

As the City has moved to automated garbage collection, the change in the recycling schedule helps to facilitate space at the width of resident’s driveways; particularly, in the winter months.
Please note: There is no garbage and recycling pickup on Monday, November 11. Both garbage and recycling pick up will be one day late for the remainder of the week.
