Join us to discuss flood prevention methods in the Peoples Road area
Tuesday, May 9, 2023
The City of Sault Ste. Marie is committed to identifying potential causes and developing alternatives to mitigate significant impacts of land and basement flooding during rainfall and snowmelt. A flood mitigation study is being considered for the area of Peoples Road including Farewell Terrace to the west, Old Goulais Bay Road and Fort Creek to the east, Fourth Line to the north and Second Line to the south. While this may be of interest to people within the Peoples Road area, residents who live in flood-prone areas are welcome to attend the information session and provide feedback.
Date: May 16, 2023
