Temporary Road Closure – Trunk Road

The City’s Public Works and Engineering Services Department would like to inform motorists that the two eastbound lanes on Trunk Road from the McDonald’s entrance to Boundary Road will be closed to traffic on Monday, March 29, 2021. The closure is necessary to facilitate a sanitary main repair. All eastbound traffic will be shifted to the center turn lane. Westbound traffic will not be affected.
Motorists are urged to be cautious and obey all detour signage in the area during this time.
The City of Sault Ste. Marie thanks its citizens for their patience and understanding during this temporary road closure period.
