Additional Time Available to Test Synthetic Ice

The City of Sault Ste. Marie along with Mill Square developer Justus Veldman is participating in a pilot project to test and evaluate synthetic ice. A SmartRink synthetic ice surface has been erected indoors at the Mill Square - Machine Shop building located at 75 Huron Street.
The general public is invited to skate on the ice surface on the following dates and times:

Friday, March 13 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday, March 14 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sunday, March 15 - Closed

Monday, March 16 to Thursday, March 19 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Friday, March 20 - 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday, March 21 - 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Community user groups including hockey, figure skating and recreational skaters will also have an opportunity to test out the ice surface.
