Spring Roadway Painting is Underway - Expect Traffic Delays

The spring painting of city roadway intersections and line painting on city streets is underway in Sault Ste. Marie. Traffic delays will occur during intersection painting.
Intersection and line painting is being performed by local contractors.
The public is urged to exercise caution and obey signage. If a motorist disregards posted signs and drives through recently painted lines, paint will permanently adhere to the vehicle.
The City uses a water-based latex material for intersection and line painting that is safe for employees and the environment.
The City of Sault Ste. Marie thanks citizens for their patience while this essential road maintenance takes place.
