Turn your Christmas lights on this evening

Judging for the 2019 Christmas Lighting Awards Program takes place this evening starting at 6 p.m. A list of nominated properties can be viewed online at:
saultstemarie.ca/christmaslighting.
This program, co-sponsored by the City and PUC Services Inc., was created to acknowledge and recognize the great effort many people put into holiday decorating.
There are two award categories – residential and business. In the Residential Category, two winners per ward will be selected. Residences that have won in the last three years (2016, 2017 and 2018) are not eligible to win.
The winning properties will be presented with award plaques at a City Council meeting in January.
