Labour Day schedule changes for City facilities

  • Public Works office. For 24-hour emergency service, call 705-759-5201. 
  • Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre
  • Sault Transit and Parabus service will not operate. The Pointe Des Chenes bus has ended for the season. The main transit office is closed.
Garbage & Recycling Collection
No garbage, leaf, and yard waste or recycling pickup on Monday, September 2. Collection for the remainder of the week will be one day late.

The following facilities and services are open on Monday, September 2:
  • Bellevue Marina – 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For fall hours please refer to onsite signage.
  • Bellevue Park concession is open 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. Closed for the season after September 2.
  • Roberta Bondar Marina – open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Closed for the season after September 2.
Pools/Splash Pad 
  • The John Rhodes pool is open during regular scheduled hours. Parent & Child/Lane Swim from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a Public Swim from 1:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • The Peter G. Manzo and V.E. Greco outdoor pools are open from 1 to 7 p.m., weather permitting.
  • The Bellevue Park and Manzo Park Splash Pad is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
  • The Rotary Interactive Fountain at the Downtown Plaza is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will close for the season September 2.
Transit Services
Sault Transit and Parabus service will not operate. The Pointe Des Chenes bus has ended for the season. Sault Transit Adventure Bus begins Saturday, September 7, 2024, traveling on Saturdays and Sundays, twice per day to Hiawatha Highlands.
