Labour Day schedule for City facilities

The following City facilities and services will be closed for Labour Day on Monday, September 5: 

• Cemetery office 
• City Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Depot 
• GFL Memorial Gardens office and Box Office 
• John Rhodes Community Centre Arenas  
• McMeeken arena and the Northern Community Centre 
• Peter G. Manzo outdoor pool – closed for the season 
• Public Libraries – James L. McIntyre Centennial and North Branch 
• Public Works office. For 24-hour emergency service, call 705-759-5201. 
• Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre 
• Sault Transit and Parabus service will not operate. The Pointe Des Chenes bus will no longer operate for the season. Main Transit office is closed 
• Seniors Services – Bay Street Active Living Centre 55+ and the Northern Community Centre Active 55+ 

Garbage and Recycling Collection 
There is no garbage, leaf and yard waste or recycling pickup on Monday, September 5. Collection will be one day late following the holiday.  

• Bellevue Marina – 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For fall hours please refer to onsite signage. 
• Bellevue Park Concession is open 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. After Labour Day the concession will be closed for the season. 
• Bellevue Park Splash Pad is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. - closes for the season after Labour Day.
• Roberta Bondar Marina – closed for the season after September 1. 
• Ermatinger•Clergue National Historic Site is open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
• V.E. Greco outdoor pool open regular hours – closes for the season after Labour Day. 
• The John Rhodes pool will be open. Parent & Child/Lane Swim 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and a Public Swim 1:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
