The following City facilities will be closed during the Easter holiday period – Good Friday, April 15 through Easter Monday, April 18:
There is no garbage or recycling pickup on Good Friday, April 15. Friday’s garbage and recycling collection will be on Saturday, April 16.

The City’s landfill will be closed on Good Friday, April 15 and Easter Monday, April 18. The landfil is open on Saturdays beginning April 23.
The City’s Household Hazardous Waste Depot will open to the public for the season beginning April 19, 2021, and will operate Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
GFL Memorial Gardens – closed Good Friday, April 15 and Easter Sunday, April 17 with the exception of previously scheduled programming. Open for scheduled programming Saturday, April 16 and Monday, April 18. Box office will be open Monday, April 18 for the Celtic Illusion show.
John Rhodes – closed Good Friday, April 15 and Easter Sunday, April 17 with the exception of previously scheduled programming. Open for scheduled programming Saturday, April 16. On Monday, April 18, sledge skating is available from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., adult skating from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. and public skating from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Marina – the Bellevue Marina 2022 seasonal boat launch passes are available for sale at the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre – Community Services office (lobby level). The cost is $66 cash, debit and credit card is accepted.
McMeeken Arena – closed Good Friday, April 15 and Easter Sunday, April 17. Open for scheduled programming Saturday, April 16 and Easter Monday, April 18.
Northern Community Centre – closed with the exception of scheduled bookings on Good Friday, April 15. Open Saturday April 16. Closed Easter Sunday, April 17. Open for scheduled bookings on Easter Monday, April 18. No walking or senior programs on Good Friday, April 15 and Easter Monday, April 18.
John Rhodes Community Centre Pool – open Good Friday, April 15 and Easter Sunday, April 17 for holiday hours. Open Saturday, April 16 and Monday, April 16 for regularly scheduled swims and programming. For more information and to view the spring swim schedule online at

Public Libraries– all libraries will be closed Good Friday, April 15, Easter Sunday, April 17 and Easter Monday, April 18. The James L. McIntyre Centennial Library and North Branch will be open on Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site – open Good Friday, April 15 for Easter egg hunt activities. Register online at

Transit Service
