City launches online traffic reporting

Friday, April 28, 2023

The City of Sault Ste. Marie is dedicated to enhancing traffic safety in the community and is pleased to introduce an online system for reporting traffic concerns. Citizens can effortlessly report a range of issues such as speeding, parking violations, and pedestrian crosswalk safety with just one click.

By visiting saultstemarie.ca/trafficconcerns, citizens can access a convenient online form that enables them to share their concerns and offer valuable feedback. By providing detailed information, including the location, time of day, and specifics of the issue, residents can assist the city's traffic management team in better understanding the community's concerns and taking appropriate action to address them.

"We are excited to introduce online reporting of traffic concerns," said Dan Perri, Municipal Service and Design Engineer. "The City is committed to the quality of life of our residents by ensuring their safety and well-being. The introduction of online traffic reporting is a significant step towards achieving this goal and will enhance our ability to collect valuable feedback and take steps to improve traffic safety in our community."

The city's traffic management team is committed to reviewing and addressing reported concerns in a timely manner to enhance traffic safety throughout the community. For more information, contact the City’s Engineering department at engineering@cityssm.on.ca.
