Garbage and Recycling Collection
There is no garbage or recycling pickup Friday, April 7. Friday’s garbage and recycling collection will be Saturday, April 8.

The City’s landfill will be closed Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10. The landfill will open to the public for the season beginning April 17 and will operate Monday to Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The City’s Household Hazardous Waste Depot will open to the public for the season beginning April 18 and will operate Tuesday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
GFL Memorial Gardens – closed Friday, April 7 and Sunday, April 9. Open for scheduled programming Saturday, April 8 and Monday, April 10.
John Rhodes – closed Friday, April 7 and Sunday, April 9. Open for scheduled programming Saturday, April 8. Sledge skating is available Monday, April 10 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., adult skating from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. and public skating from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Marina – Bellevue Marina seasonal boat launch passes are for sale at the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre Community Services office (lobby level). The cost is $69. Cash, debit, credit card (in-person or over the phone) is accepted. Passes can also be purchased online at

Northern Community Centre Arena – closed Friday, April 7 and Sunday, April 9. Open for scheduled programming Saturday, April 8 and Monday, April 10.
Northern Community Centre – closed except for scheduled bookings on Friday, April 7. Open Saturday April 8. Closed Sunday, April 9. Open for scheduled bookings Monday, April 10. No walking or Active 55+ programs Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10.
John Rhodes Community Centre Pool – The pool is open holiday hours Easter weekend. Parent and Child/Lane Swim 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and public swimming 1:15 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 8 and Monday, April 10. Regular programming Saturday, April 8 and Monday, April 10. Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site – open Saturday, April 8 for Easter egg hunt activities. Register by calling 705-759-5443. Closed Friday April 7, Sunday, April 9 and Monday, April 10.
Public Libraries– all libraries will be closed Friday, April 7, Sunday, April 9 and Monday, April 10. The James L. McIntyre Centennial Library and North Branch will be open Saturday, April 8 for regular operational hours.
Transit Service
Transit and Parabus will not operate Friday, April 7. Regular weekend service for transit and Parabus runs Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9. Regular weekday service resumes Monday, April 10. For transit information, call 705-759-5438.
