Group of Seven

Moments in Algoma - A Group of Seven Experience (Dinner Theatre)

Dates: September 4, 25 and October 2
Details: 2020 marks 100 years of the Group of Seven! At the Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site we offer a full evening based on the Group of Seven and their ties to this area. The evening begins in our Heritage Discovery Centre with appetizers, wine, and a 25 minute theatrical production “Moments in Algoma”, a one man show inspired by the letters and reflections of the founding members of the Group of Seven during their first visits to Algoma in 1918.  Following the show guests will dine in the Summer Kitchen of the Ermatinger Old Stone House where a three course menu is served by the hearth.  The dinner is themed to a “boxcar” menu and servers are primed with anecdotal tales of the men painting in Algoma.

Price is $55 + Hst for tickets.
