Road Closure - St. Georges Ave. West between John St. and Wellington St. West

The City's Public Works and Engineering Services Department would like to inform motorists that St. Georges Avenue West between John Street and Wellington Street West will be closed to throughway traffic for approximately 4 weeks beginning Tuesday, September 4. The closure is necessary to facilitate reconstruction of the Fort Creek Aqueduct on Wellington Street.
Motorists are urged to be cautious and obey all detour signage in the area during this time.
The City of Sault Ste. Marie thanks its citizens for their patience and understanding during this road closure period.
