Mayor Provenzano statement on Municipal Election results

Mayor Christian Provenzano offered the following remarks on the Municipal Election held on Monday.
"I want to congratulate all members of our newly elected City Council, both those who are returning and our new City Councillors. I look forward to our inauguration in December and to working with you over the next term.
To all of the candidates who put their names forward, thank you for your time and your effort. It takes a lot of commitment to participate in a campaign and you should all be recognized and commended for your efforts. I want to recognize and thank our outgoing City Councillors for their service. I have enjoyed working with Council over the past four years and I wish all of them well.
I also want to recognize and thank City staff and all of the volunteers who helped ensure our election day ran properly. Your hard work is appreciated by our community and your involvement is crucial to our democracy.
I want to thank our community for their overwhelming support. The election result is heartening and I commit to you that I will continue to work hard for you and our community for the next four years."
