Marianas Trench and the Last Crusade concert cancelled due to illness

Monday, October 31, 2016

Due to unfortunate circumstances, the "Marianas Trench and the Last Crusade" concert scheduled for November 14 at the Essar Centre has been cancelled.

A press release from the band states that due to an illness within the band, the first 10 shows of the tour would be postponed. Unfortunately, two venues including the Essar Centre in Sault Ste. Marie could not be rescheduled.

Front man Josh Ramsay stated, "no one is more disappointed than I am…unfortunately, we must postpone some of our upcoming tour dates. My throat infection and resulting scar tissue is serious enough that my doctor's diagnosis was for me to not sing a note until the New Year. However, I can't handle this forcing me to cancel a second tour in a row completely, so I've chosen to postpone the first half of the tour to give my voice a little extra time to recuperate. With enough vocal rest and medicine, I should be back in fighting shape in no time. Unfortunately we weren't able to reschedule all the shows, and we'll have to see our fans in Sault Ste. Marie and Medicine Hat a little further down the road."

Ticket purchases made through cash, cheque or debit will be reimbursed - call or visit the Essar Centre Box Office starting Monday November 7 to receive a full refund. Credit card purchases will be automatically refunded.
