City Refuse and Recycling Collection May Be Delayed Due to Weather Conditions

The Public Works and Transportation Department (PWT) would like to advise residents of possible delays in their refuse and recycling collection this week, due to the continuing poor winter conditions Public Works crews are experiencing.
Given the weather situation, some collection areas may be missed.
"PWT crews will continue to do their best; however, there may be some areas that could be missed - we ask residents to please be patient as we respond to the winter weather," says Larry Girardi, Commissioner, Public Works and Transportation.
If your recycling or refuse pickup is missed this week, residents are asked to put these items out as part of next week's collection.
The City of Sault Ste. Marie thanks residents for their cooperation and understanding.
