East End Home Fire

In the early morning hours of August 24, 2018, Sault Ste. Marie fire crews responded to a 911 call in the 100 block of East Champagne Drive.
Three occupants from the home were outside on the fire crews arrival. As a result of the fire, one male occupant sustained injuries and has been transferred to Sault Area Hospital.
Deputy Chief - Paul Milosevich stated, "SSM Fire inspectors are currently investigating the fire and awaiting the arrival of the Ontario Fire Marshals office. The fire is not considered suspicious."
