Accessibility Advisory Committee
The
Ontarians with Disabilities Act (ODA 2001) and the
Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, (A.O.D.A. 2005) require that the majority of the sixteen voting members of the Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) be composed of persons with disabilities, and may include members who may not have a disability and are interested in issues related to persons with disabilities, including parents representing children with disabilities.
The Accessibility Advisory Committee advises Council and potentially City agencies, boards and commissions, in promoting and facilitating a barrier-free Sault Ste. Marie for citizens of all abilities.

Agendas and Minutes
Accessibility Advisory Committee meets once monthly on the second Wednesday of every month. Minutes are posted to the website after approval by the Committee at the next scheduled meeting.
