Confederation Cuisine

Date: May 26, June 30, September 29, October 13, November 3, November 24, November 25, 2017

Time: 6 p.m.

Details: Celebrate 150 years of Confederation through our heritage culinary experiences as we travel through food across Canada in our newest Friday by the Fire events. April 21 - West coast, May 26 - Prairies, June 30 - P.E.I. Lobsterfest and Historyfest, September 29 - Group of 7, October 13 - Ontario, November 3 - Quebec, November 24 & 25 - Atlantic. Events are licensed. Registration is required.

Group of Seven Dinner Theatre

Date: July 7, August 21, September 29, 2017

A Pioneer Summer Camp

Date: July 10-14 and August 14-18

Time: 12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Details: Step back in time to the early 1800's and spend the week as a pioneer. Bake on the hearth in our historic summer kitchen, play pioneer games on the front lawn, and try your hand at various heritage crafts. Join in Metis dancing and games and listen to the tales of our Coureur de Bois. All summer camps are for children 6 to 9 years old.

Registration: $125 for the week

Strawberry Social

Date: July 13

Time: 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. (Come-and-go)

Details: Tour the site, enjoy the bonfire, and visit with our re-enactors. Part of the Downtown Days with the Downtown Association. Purchase tickets online by clicking the register button above.

Tickets: $10 per person - includes strawberry shortcake and tea/coffee


Bonkers for Blueberries

Date: August 12, 2017

Details: Enjoy fresh Northern Ontario wild blueberry pancakes, sausages, fresh St. Joseph Island maple syrup, blueberry products and baking, and pioneer games. Breakfast or tea. Registeration is required.
