National Film Day

Date: April 19, 2017

Time: 10 a.m. / 4:30 p.m. / 7 p.m.

Details: Free Canadian movies in our HDC theatre! Starting at 10 a.m. and going to 2 p.m., Canadian Shorts will be looped all day long. At 4:30 p.m. the family animated "Snowtime" will be playing. Starting at 7:30 p.m., in partnership with the Local Immigration Partnership, the movie Brooklyn will be featured. Snacks will be available for sale. Registration is required.

Confederation Cuisine

Date: April 21, May 26, June 30, September 29, October 13, November 3, November 24, November 25, 2017

Time: 6 p.m.

Details: Celebrate 150 years of Confederation through our heritage culinary experiences as we travel through food across Canada in our newest Friday by the Fire events. April 21 - West coast, May 26 - Prairies, June 30 - P.E.I. Lobsterfest and Historyfest, September 29 - Group of 7, October 13 - Ontario, November 3 - Quebec, November 24 & 25 - Atlantic. Events are licensed. Registration is required.

Lilac and Lavender Victorian Garden Party

Date: June 3-4, 2017

Details: Enjoy the fun, fragrance and flavour of high tea with friends and family. Join us for an afternoon of delicious treats, entertainment and good company. Seating is limited, call and reserve your spot today! Two sittings per day.

Bonkers for Blueberries

Date: August 12, 2017

Details: Enjoy fresh Northern Ontario wild blueberry pancakes, sausages, fresh St. Joseph Island maple syrup, blueberry products and baking, and pioneer games. Breakfast or tea. Registeration is required.
