Special Occasion Permits

Anyone who wishes to sell and serve alcohol at a designated site must complete an agreement form that stipulates the conditions under which alcohol may be served. In addition, the responsible person must obtain a Special Occasion Permit from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). These permits are issued through Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) SOP service stores throughout the province on behalf of the AGCO.

For Sault Ste. Marie LCBO store locations view the Liquor Control Board of Ontario website.

For permit information or to download application forms view the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario website.
